Located in the swanky zone 14 neighborhood, Monticelli sets a high bar for luxury Italian fare in Guatemala CitynnExcellent ambiance and service, meet with spectacular ingredients and great cooking to create a simple but tasty menu.nnThe wonderful dining experience is complemented by a full bar and a spectacular wine list.nnYou can order ‘take away’ from the menu and a well stocked Deli, but I would recommend you try the whole Monticelli experience.

From the moment we arrived, the experience at this Italian restaurant was exceptional. Valet parking was prompt and courteous, marking the beginning of a flawless evening. Upon entering, we were immediately enveloped by the elegant and sophisticated atmosphere, with decor that perfectly blends classic Italian style with modern details. The service from the staff was first-rate: attentive waiters, knowledgeable about the menu, and always willing to offer sound recommendations. The food was simply exquisite: al dente artisanal pasta, flavorful sauces, perfectly cooked meats, and desserts that rounded out the evening with a flourish. The food, while good, was nothing special for the price. I ordered the lasagna, and it was very simple. The service was good, we were able to make a reservation, and our table was ready. The atmosphere is very nice and pleasant.
