Went with a friend to a place we haven't been yet. Just passed the Gallerias mall called Pinoli. It has sort of a fresh Italian vibe to it. Modern indoor air conditioned decor with patio style outdoor area for those fresh evenings. Opted for the indoor seating on this hot afternoon lunch hour. Small menu selection with the lunch menu starting after 12pm. Looks like the dinner menu is a little more extensive. Will have to come for dinner sometime. My wife and her friend ordered the combo plates, and I chose the lighter chicken cesar salad. Nice thing about the lunch is that it came with soup and a little after meal treat. Sort of a three course event that definitely feels of an upscale experience. Lemonade on ice for drinks and the soup starter (tomato or ayote) was fresh, smooth, and not overly creamy. The ladies' combo meals were pretty filling with a good mix of the standard Nica dishes. My salad was well balanced with creamy dressing, fresh crisp lettuce, and tender chicken. Especially enjoyed the big pieces of dried parmesan giving the salad a nice salty bite. Just enough food with room for the final treat to finish the meal. Small dish of wonderfully creamy ice cream for me and a hot after dinner coffee for my wife. I really liked this clean, modern midday experience. Tasty, fresh, and nice service for those mall shopping nearby with your date.

It is small, not a lot of people when I arrived which is good in my opinion. Not too pricey and the food was good, a good experience overall.

My visit to the restaurant was a very positive experience. The food was delicious, with well-prepared and presented dishes that reflected the quality of the ingredients. Furthermore, the service was impeccable: the staff was friendly, attentive, and always willing to answer any questions about the menu. The prices, although a little high, are fully in line with the market for restaurants of this category and are worth it for the quality offered. The atmosphere was also excellent, with a modern and welcoming decor that made the evening even more enjoyable.
